Okay question I'm just starting out growing you said you can use fox farm for up to 55 days without nutes after 55 days what do i use then ? Any help would be greatly appreciated
I started my autos in 3 gallon pot and was watering once a week sometimes twice so I never filled the pot yet and it's week 2 of flower so tonight I finally watered until runoff and it was like 2800 ppm . What was I supposed to do when. The plant is way to small for the pot at the time. When. I needed to start adding nutrients so they ended up building up because I wasn't water until runoff u til plants got big ennuff
This is a great example my plants looked exactly the same way with the nitrogen toxicity I counter acted it with flush out the medium with water took a few day to recover but did recover well from the way the burns were on my leafs
Fox farm sometimes isnt done composting thats when it hot and cooks your plants .soil get hot while composting fox farm sometimes rushes the processes and sells uncompomposted soil
I've used a compost mix that a family member has made for his own garden and I didn't have to do anything but water and the growth and yeild….not to mention taste and appearance were phenomenal pure organic
Since roots Organics liquid nutes are “organic” how long would it take to be available for the plants? Days? Weeks? Also would organic nutes be measured the same as synthetic with a tds meter?
I haven’t but yet again it’s my first grow I noticed the plants in fox farm do grow faster tho than the Mother Earth but I’ll be buying Mother Earth again it’s good and cheap:)
Fox farms is terrrribleeee soil for growing weed. It's not the right consistency, doesn't have enough microbes, is "HYDROPHOBIC" And "Weed Resistant🤮🤮🤮 I don't know why anyone would recommend this SOIL!
FoxFarm guys used to work for Miracle-Gro. True story. I personally think they suck. Over priced stuff that makes it hard for the first time grower by making them fail.
I’m going to follow your work , I like the way u explain things, I was going to do a online school but something tell me to follow you so I’m your student
My leaves are dark green. Using cocoa and general hydro phonics nutrients. They are actually pointing up and look extremely healthy. Are there strains that are just dark?
I'm using fox farm ocean forest. I've been watering with tap water at 7.2.. and I tested my run off and its below 4.5.. and looks identical to the nitrogen toxicity example.. which is what I thought it was in the beginning. So I fed it epsom salt , liquid sea weed and a tiny bit of lactobacillus for good luck lol… ph down to 6.68 exactly.. and the run off was below 4.5 . I've used nothing but tap water no nutes nothing at all. Crazy
I tried the bales of hay with my outdoor, it didn't compost enough and was way too acidic, i ended up with necrosis and lockout, i did pull them out after 2 months of growing in the pots and put them in m3 soil, its been almost 2 weeks and everything is coming back very nicely!
So informative. I been useing ffof for some time and I do run into issues with the soul being to hot after my first round goes into flower and I start the next in veg while useing soil I mixed 8 weeks ago. Those second round plants alway end up with a nute toxicity. Then I usually spend the rest of the grow getting everything under control. Got to the point I switched to coco. After a year of that I miss truly organic growing. Your info has giving me clearer direction. And I know my soil has been cooking way too long. Thanks man!!!
I don't spend money on expensive soils. To ship foxfarms here is crazy expensive. I just use sunshine mix 4 right now since it's available here for 30 bucks and is almost always at home depot. Honestly, you use so little nutrients during veg compared to flower that I really don't think you save any money by buying expensive soils with fertilizer in them. Nutrients only get expensive during flower. I'm also growing top shelf weed with high yields so it's not effecting quality either.

Recycle all potted soil. Organic soil just needs to be amended with meals, worm castings blah blah blah. Happy growing
After switching 12/12,when you start feeding with bloom nuts?
really 1500 ppm never feed that high
Bess vid. I am experiencing nitrogen toxicity . I hav other strains with the same soil they are fine.

Large tub worm farms, feed the soil not the plants.
That was awesome information Brother
