i had a dream last night while high, some tall cunt was jumping my back fence and flogging my weed every night so we chased him down to his house and he ran down a dark hallway and we were just like nah fuck that and ran home.

After 15 years of being a stoner, I quit smoking weed 2 months ago and every damn night I'm having really intense dreams!! I cracked and thought right that's it I'm smoking some before bed so I can just sleep in peace… did it work? Nope I couldn't get to sleep at all.. and when I eventually did hours and hours later.. I still dreamed.. so theres no point in me smoking anymore. 🙁 it gives me a fast heartbeat and too many thoughts. Sad times. I love MJ but my body doesnt 🙁 RIP good times.

Weed makes me have weird ass dreams. Indica dominant strains usually make me feel really sleepy after the high is done and some strains straight up knock me out.

i’ve been using cannabis for my ptsd for about 2 or 3 years and it’s helped me in ways i didn’t even pick up on, i ran out of weed the other day and decided a few day tolerance break is needed but the first night weed-free i woke up from vivid, realistic night terrors pertaining to my traumatic event. I’ve been wanting to quit because i easily sleep over 10 hours, due to the reasons you mentioned here. However now i’m not so sure if i should quit, the positives may outweigh the negatives in my case. i’d love to talk to anyone experiencing something similar (:

I smoke every day and have for many years, and I don't dream at all. At least I don't remember having any dreams. About two years ago, I had to stop for a while to pass a drug test. I had horrible nightmares for two weeks. Not only did I have nightmares, I had trouble sleeping. Kept waking up. And the nightmares were very realistic and horrible, involving my wife and kids and it was terrible. I couldn't smoke a bowl fast enough when I was done with my "fast".

not sure if anybody will read this, but I have experienced the same problem with sleeping and smoking right before. I am lucky to be able to fall asleep without smoking Weed but i have the most vivid dreams. So far that i wake up, covered in sweat on a regular basis. I think its because I am not used to experience dreams since I smoke weed on a regular basis for like 3 Years now. I like dreaming and i definatly missed it but those dreams i am having right now are just way to intense to wake up the next morning and start your day right away. I have to sit down with myself and rethink of what i just dreamed and what this could mean to me. So in the long run i hope that my brain will talk to me more often in my dreams and that i can reconnect with what really bothers me through my dreams.

The way i found about this was when i went to a youth camp and lived there for 5 and a half months, and sense its a drug free program i started having normal and bad dreams sleeping in my bunk. After the first few bad dreams I've had, i realised it was the weed that prevented those dreams happening to me, i thought i was gonna be safe from and dreams sense i was surrounded by 27 other cadets in my bay sleeping, I hate bad dreams i wish i was able to kill whoever trys to get in them
