It actually works amazingly, in my country a doctor sugested it to my husband because after 30+ years of suffering and meds nothing worked. We highly recomment it

"even a child can do it" .. maybe if they don't freak out. Took some practice, adult restraint and patience before I minimized the stinging, choking, etc (mostly self-caused but by impulse).

I have used a nose bath device from Germany with salt water for many years. Recently I became aware of avoiding plastic products and found this netipot that is a porcelain product. Coupled with sodium chloride and sodium bicarbonate in distilled water, the result is astounding. I would recommend it to anyone with sinus issues – even though the method looks gross but it will allow you to breathe better

Just tried this, would recommend the porcelain one because you need to throw away the plastic one after 3 months of use

By using this or the other Neilmed Bottle, can the saline get in to the Maxiliary area and cleanse it, through Ostia? One ENT told me that the Ostia is too small to get the water inside the Maxiliary sinus? Need suggestion… Thanks

I have a sinus cold. I just went and bought this product because of the reviews. I have no doubt that this might be effective for certain nasal conditions, but for mine, which is production of excess thin mucus, this did little more than a good nose-blowing does. I was semi-clear for about 5 minutes until the mucus production caught up and my nose started running again. I will keep it and use it when I am plugged up. Might work better for that.

I wish I'd known about this product earlier. I've used it today for the first time, and felt an immediate improvement. It's easy to use. Just follow the instructions. If you use tap water you must boil it for at least five minutes, and then let it cool down.

Thank you for the video, now I just have to figure out why mine isn't coming out the other side 🙁 I am doing it just like the directions and the video. I can breath through my nose just fine so it's not like I am congested. I have been taking sudafed since last night 🙁

Guys The pot does in fact work. I was always blowing my nose all the time and couldn't stop. It took a while to tilt my head in the right way but once I got it right, SO much snot came out and I felt so much better. It works just keep tilting your head till it comes out.

IT WORKED! i think the main trick is NOT to hold your breath and just let loose. It was really weird and i started laughing. I did it more than twice though (my sinuses are very bad -_-)

Dont ever use a neti pot, water will become stuck back there, become infected with bacteria and make you feel sick.

This is an old Ayurveda technique… The problem is with half knowledge you should not do it daily once in a week or fortnight is ok… the mucus in the nose is as important and protects you from bacterial infection if you do it every day you will lose the natural protection… Then neti pot will be called pseudo science by the scientists…

What I don't understand with this thing is that it always burns my nose even though I put the exact amount of water they say and use a packet of the solution that comes with it. I tried spring water, boiled water, and distilled water, all at comfortable warm termperature but it still always burns almost as if I was using regular water with no salt.

This is not an anti-congestive. It is just saline. The important thing is to start using it well before the hay fever season starts. It's worked for me and a couple of my friends I recommended it to. You can try using an antihistamine spray to open your sinuses first, then use the netti-pot since it is just saline. Hopefully, it can shorten the duration of your condition. Good Luck!

This thing has been a minor miracle for me. But you can't wait until you are having congestive problems to use it. My main problem is in the spring so I start using the netti-pot well before the pollen starts floating around. My symptoms were extreme draining which usually led to bacterial bronchitis. In the three years since I started using the netti-pot I haven't had any problems. This is not an anti-congestive. If you are congested it won't help that. This is a preventative.

The man who introduced the amoeba with his netti-pot was using tap water. The amoeba was found in his house water supply. Only bottled, purified or distilled water may be used.
