The only way Cannibus should be legalized is without taxation.
We should all be allowed to grow it at will!
Industrialists and politicians severely dislike self sufficiency.
    Never forget it

They want at least $50.00 per ounce tax on marijuana. That is just the state tax.. the feds will want their cut too.

ABOUT BLOODY TIME! It should be Legalised in the US at the same level as alcohol and cigarettes — you may only imbue in certain places (the Privacy of your own home, etc.), you may NOT be publicly intoxicated and you may be arrested if caught driving under the influence and you would face additional changes if you were intoxicated during the commission of a crime! (Is that last even true for cigarettes & alcohol?) It doesn't ring familiar.

The big problem is that when it is all legal, marijuana will be 5 cents a pound.

Countries such as Denmark have been looking at legalization of cannabis and the possibility of importing product from Colorado and Washington States. A meeting is set for this Friday with US Officials in this matter. I read this in a story on medical marijuana inc.

I get that sort of response a lot. Well guess what. Yes, there are some dangerous things in nature as well as some beneficial things. But let's say I started growing my own poppies and made myself some heroin. When I shoot up I stay inside the whole time. The only person being hurt by my actions is myself, so what the fuck jurisdiction does the government have to tell me no, I'm not allowed? If an action only involves the self and no other party, then government has absolutely no place in it.

I really need medical marijuana… It's the only thing that helps with my insomnia. I have tried nearly every legal medication, and while some work, I build up tolerances and the dosage becomes dangerous. Prescription drugs were killing me and I had enough, so I started smoking a tiny pinch before bed time. I have never slept more soundly. Marijuana saved my life :/

cocaine and heroin is natural. U could grow poppies to make heroin and coca to make cocaine. U could grow datura and poison ivy. All of that is "NATURAL!". Arsenic is natural! Just cause something is natural doesnt make it right.

home invasions over nature – denying the sick their ancient tumor herb – no herb of joy for you folks, no natural medicine, bio fuel or textile, these tricky dickies prefer terrorizing the population and filling up their courts, jails and pockets as they feed the war and fearmonger beasts – bringing into ruin and captivity, millions of the disobediant – all over a leaf that has benefited mankind for centuries – The Bully of the world and free agency is so obese!

Not sure where you get your numbers but Marijuana was on and off the books from the late 1800s through the early 1900s. Then made illegal nationwide by the Marijuana Tax Act of 1937. Then further strengthened by mandatory sentencing imposed when the United States Congress passed the Boggs Act of 1952 and the Narcotics Control Act of 1956.
It has all been downhill since then and we are not talking just 40 years. Fight the good fight but fight it with the facts. Prohibition has never been good.

LOL, Pennsylvania cannot even get rid of their State LCB controlled liquor stores. How do you thing they will ever legalize pot! Don't hold your breath…. well unless you are just holding in that toke you just took.
While I would love to see it happen I certainly do not think they will be next.

Legalizing nature is just as arrogant as making it illegal. Either way, they are assuming that they have the authority to make your decision for you. Basically, it shouldn't be on the books either way.
