What do you think about just going to the big pot or at least limiting the amount of transplants. I have found in my beginning stages of learning that transplanting can have a big impact on plants. So as soon as they get happy you change and they stress out and then they get happy and they you stres them. Etc. when I went straight to the big I didn’t notice anything different. But I’m in the middle of that now so we will see. If you plant them in the ground it’s like going straight the large pot. Or maybe if you could explain the benefit of the transplants. Thank you.

The potting mix I have, has perlite in it. And I've read that it says to fertilize the plants after a month being in the potting mix. Is that ok? I have ordered and recieved a fertilizer that is complete in all the nutrients that weed and other veggies need. Also, I'm in southern California, is it ok to start the plant indoors and then move it outside and only taking it in when the sun starts setting?
