biochemical hallucinogens may be enjoyable in the short term, but the dependency/attachment they leave is completely opposite to a "free mind" which people seek. How can you be free when you are attached to a plant?
Thank you very much for this interesting video! – I wonder: What would the Sanskrit literature say about using a "Vaporiser" which does not burn the whole plant (like in smoking with all the negative side effects) but only heats up the officinalis part (the "bud" or the flower) to release the effective parts and vapours them so they can be inhaled without the negative side-effects of smoking? – Imagine "Vaporisers" would have been available back when the Sanskrit text sources have been written – would they have recommended the usage of "Vaporisers" as a form of purification? – I am very interested in your reply. – Thank you for all you do here on the channel! – đ – Namaste! – [Edit: Corrected some typos. – Sorry for that. Namaskaar. Need some info that might be of use in fighting the locust swarms threatening food security of the nation.
Is there any mention of its cultivation as a barrier crop in Rajasthan and Gujarat for locusts? The idea being that locusts and grasshoppers love to eat this plant and get paralysed for 2-3 days by which time birds can finish them off. It also apparently stops their swarming flight or hopping migrations which might lead the locusts to cannibalise each other.
Can you confirm this possibility or deny the same? Dhanyavaad.
