The DEA recently decided to keep marijuana a schedule 1 drug, meaning it has no medical benefits. This is clearly false. Ben Mankiewicz (What The Flick), John …
I'm on section 8 and I live in Oklahoma City where you have to have a medical card and I keep hearing that you cannot have one if you're on section 8 or they'll take it away so say someone has seizures in their own section 8 and it takes away their seizures so they can't have that medicine all because they're on section 8 which is b***** to me part of me wants to go ahead and get my medical card and hope that section 8 doesn't find out and the other part of me is hesitated cuz I've been homeless and it sucks idk what to do no I was just using that as an example I don't get seizures bipolar as hell and it helps me not be so bipolar I wish they would change it man say it makes me even mad cuz someone who can go get a prescription of Xanax it's on section 8 but yet they won't tell them that they can't have their Xanax huiuuu
Ben there to always play Devil's Advocate or Centrist-Right Advocate, bleh is annoying even if it isn't his real belief and he is just trying to provide a moderate counter-point to the argument so it isn't one-sided….i'd almost it rather be one-sided propaganda tho, 😛 ok maybe not….but Jimmy is more relatable to me then, because he always goes full-blown radical Left-Libertarian on everyone, which is cool.
But all these greedy bastards want is money and if marijuana is legalized and used as medicine it gets rid of most other medicines that only fix one illness at a time.
The DEA is ignorant and just wants to keep hurting countless innocent American Lives. Hey U.S. Gov, Don't Open up medical Cannabis dispensaries here then if it's so dangerous. Oh yeah, you guys just want to keep extorting money from Americans on two different levels. It's legal it's not legal it's legal it's illegal it's legal it's illegal it's legal it's illegal. Move it from the schedule 1 list and start saving lives. But don't have it be a catch 22 where your extorting money from the dispensarys (where it's okay to pick up medical cannabis right?) and then arresting Citizens for having cannabis!! It makes no sense and it's immorally wrong. Very Wrong on so many levels. Cannabis needs to be legal Today (not tomorrow) in All 50 states! This medicine (exactly medicine is what is and has been for century's) is life saving and has killed no one.
"legalized medical marijuana has seen a sharp drop in opioid-based painkiller prescriptions…" And there's the reason it's still called a schedule 1 drug, which by definition means it has no medical value. The regulatory agencies work for big pharma.
Recreational marijuana will be legalized nationwide in Canada in 2017. The DEA is a big employer in our nation. That's the real problem. Everything from drug testing manufacturers to bail bond lenders. Technology used for drug raids and the list goes on.
It's business as usual poor US citizens have to sacrifice their lives and their freedom to insure the prosperity of a few people. The poor pay for a lot of shit with their blood and their freedom. That's what it cost to live in America if you are poor your blood or your freedom or both land of the free my ass.
Medicinal marijuana (i.e. marijuana for medical purposes) should be legalised but it shouldn't be straight up legalised like it is in Colorado. I was a former user and it makes you real lazy, and you lose motivation and at times even concentration. So yeah shouldn't be used for recreation but medicinal uses are ok!
I think the only thing holding back the change of marijuana from schedule 1 drug is the pharmaceutical companies do not want it on the market to compete with their addictive pain killing drugs.
marijuana works by releasing dopamine into the brain therefore helping people to relax or release tension. however like most medicines it never actually cures anything it only curves the effects and relieves pain.
the only negative effects of marijuana are those that are situational. Such as driving under the influence of marijuana or overdosing on marijuana (too much of anything is bad for anyone). people can also claim necessity for marijuana but in the end, just use it as an outlet to get it. I definitely agree it should be more monitored and controlled like any prescribed Medicine should. I don't think marijuana itself is negative in any way.
The reason there is a drop in opioid usage with people that use cannabis is you are not allowed to use both or your doctor gets in trouble. So people choose one or the other because of the way laws are written.
They touched on the KEY reason in this piece without even realizing it: STATES WITH LEGALIZED MARIJUANA HAVE SEEN A SHARP DROP IN OPIOID-BASED PAINKILLER PRESCRIPTIONS.
Pharma is more than aware of this data…and as any drug dealer would tell you, to stay on top you need to either eliminate the competition, or buy them out.
With the influence they already have in our government, the former option is much cheaper for them at the moment.
+charley15z – unless you have a disease etc, it's easy for you to make a joke about this. I have MS! and, severe arthritis – not to mention, recovering from stage 4 cancer. medicinal cannabis has helped tremendously!! and I use the capsules, I don't smoke it.. LOW THC, high CBD's. you don't get high. just relief. people need to get with the program..

Anything is a gateway drug if its illegal. Make it legal already so people dont have to keep going to dealers who will try to sell them a more expensive product.

The DEA is a harmful, nefarious organization. It's just another gang, but controlled by pharmaceutical companies.
The only negative thing about cannabis is it's illegality.
The DEA needs some weed asap
benefits of marijuana: I give no fucks, I just like getting high

Hey YouTube you delete a lot of conservative posts but yall let tyt run wild???
Dude, this video was rad man…I'm high right now (not really).
Actually Israel is the main researcher for marijuana and they have found out that using it prevents cancer.
I've smoked every day since 15, I'm 22 now,
It curbs my panic attacks and helps with my anxiety problems.
Got high for the first time last night. Shit was fun
Pffft… I get higher meditating.
"There's not enough research done on marijuana so we're going to keep it difficult to research marijuana" is what i get from this lol
It helps dampen anxiety, alleviates depression, physical aches and pains and makes many boring things much more interesting.
The issue is most people smoke it…

2:53 Ah, yes the "gateway-myth".
But schedule 1 means there is absolutely no benefits. What a load of bullshit.
No 1 benefit: stopping minorities and liberals being able to vote.
No 2 benefit: private prisons kept at over-max capacity.
I'm being sarcastic
