If you can't smoke weed and have good health that's all on you and your mindset towards it. Nothing else simples.

Yes and yet alcohol is the legal one. They want to dumb down and control you mentally, you must gain control of your mind. With the practice of self control and meditation we can do just that. We can create a more harmonious and peaceful future for planet.

Okay so as someone who HAS mental illness, this is a spit into our faces. I DO NOT smoke weed, Mental health is something that you are BORN WITH. Not because I have smoke But because have a chemical imbalance and it is an insult for you to imply this.

In my experience it caused mental illness yes, depression and paranoia. The latter is worse than the former – it made me act out of character completely and make a mistake (and I only used it once a month or so). Taking drugs is like taking a loan from the bank and then spending it immediately, having a great time etc – but the next day and for weeks/months after you have to pay it back. It's borrowing against your future neurotransmitter levels (happiness).

A COR-RELATIONAL RELATIONSHIP DOES NOT EQUAL A CAUSAL RELATIONSHIP, JUST BECAUSE 80% OF MENTALLY ILL PEOPLE THERE USE CANNABIS DOES NOT MEAN THAT CANNABIS IS THE CAUSE OF MENTAL ILLNESS, my theory is that mentally ill people tend to use cannabis, now attempt tp disprove me scientifically , goodluck,  because my hypothesis is just as sound as yours.

Alcohol caused me more mental health problems than cannabis. With alcohol it gave me severe paranoia , withdrawal hallucinations, panic attacks and fear. Weed did none of this.

it is not true that south africa has more potent cannabis! europe had stronger weed for at least a decade due to the dutch breeding extremely potent strains. this documentary is bogus. i am not saying that cannabis use is totally harmless but false facts are spread here by the bbc!

Okay this is all a load of shit!, the reason why they have mental problems is because they mix the dagga, or weed, with other drugs such as cocain or tik or whatever drug they choose. people need to stop making weed sound and look bad with other drugs and also mention what other drug is mixed with weed than just to say weed fucked up their life and bla bla shut the fuck up!………..Bitch………

it all bows down to the fact that too much of everything i obviously bad for you weed in good doses will do wonders for you regarding ur health and too much might jst cause permanent hallucinations and mental decline

why do they make all these lies up about canabis, thats why the dumb fucking pigs spend millions of pounds of british taxpayers money arresting people every day for taking it because they think its bad when in reality its about the only useful thing out there.alcohol and nicotine do so muc harm yet there legal and canabis maybe cant save lives but it can do the next best thing and give people a enjoyable healthier life.why is there no petitions to legalise canabis.i would pay people to sign it

Duh, of course people with mental health problems gravitate towards self-medication with cannabis. So yeah, there is a "link", but not a causal link from cannabis to mental health problems, but the other way round.

Everyone has to stop denying that cannabis has no negative health consequences. Because it does. It is not harmless. However, there are ways to deal with these risks, such as how often you smoke it, the environment you smoke it in, and your personal life circumstances need to be taken into account before using weed. We need to educate people about these things, like we educate people about alcohol moderation. Just because it has risks, it doesn't mean it should be illegal. It achieves nothing!

addiction is any behavior that is associated with craving, temporarily relief and with longer turn negative consequences along with an impairment control over it so that the person wishes it to give it up or promises to do so but cant follow through, and they are so addicted to such a degree that they are in denial about their impact of their life activities which is typical to addicts in denying, and it seems the greater the harm the more respectable the addiction.

this is what I wanna fucking know; why is it I hear SO much of this bullshit about mental health, yet I have never known (or even HEARD OF) a SINGLE person who has suffered from mental health problems caused by cannabis alone? they can't even tell you HOW it causes psychosis, let alone prove that it actually does. plus, even if it were true, I think we would have to point a finger at the government. all the shitty chemicals people put in it probably don't help your mental health.

correlation =/= causation. Cannabis is popular in the region therefore its likely that most people in the region consume it. Therefore most people who end up in these mental health programs will have had consumed it. Its not rocket science people.
